Whether your journey is
local or further afield, St Bridget’s Private
Ambulance is available to transport you with ease and
efficiency.
St
Bridget’s Private Ambulance Service was established in 1988
to serve
the immediate needs of the St Bridget’s Care Homes, and its
residents. In 1991 more vehicles were acquired and
the Private Ambulance Service was offered to the general
public. At this point we joined the British Ambulance
Association (BAA), and started providing services to Private Hospitals,
the National Health Service, Social Services, and to various
repatriation and medical emergency organisations.
Private
ambulance services in the UK and world wide are available.
Whether you have a medical appointment, are
being admitted or discharged from a care home or hospital, have an
event requiring ambulance presence, or need to
transport a patient, human organs, blood or
tissue, we can help.
Our experienced, professional crews are trained
to a high standard of patient care providing a stress free service
at an anxious time.
All the vehicles are comprehensively
insured and designed to carry patients by either, stretcher,
wheelchair, or can be configured as a seated ambulance. 12
volt power supply, tracheal intubators and oxygen are carried as
standard, and depending on the specific needs of the patient
defibrillators or spinal immobilisation equipment including vacuum
mattresses can be supplied.
